Welcome to New Edge Electrical Education LLC. Founded by Daniel Wilson, we are here to offer additional opportunities for electricians to gain knowledge and understanding of the NEC. We offer online courses that allow students to continue to work while earning valuable skills that will advance their electrical career.
Our detailed training programs cover essential topics such as electrical theory, safety protocols, and practical applications. Designed to meet industry standards, these courses prepare students for certification exams and real-world electrical work. We will teach you how to navigate and use the NEC as well as study and prepare to take the electrical contractors licensing exam.
This online electrical contractor exam prep course is designed for electricians preparing to take the North Carolina Electrical Contractors licensing exam. The course focuses on the knowledge, code navigation, calculations, and practical problem solving skills needed to confidently prepare for the NC licensing exam.
Students will work through NC specific electrical requirements while developing the ability to quickly locate and apply the information in the National Electric Code (NEC) and applicable NC electrical regulations. NC currently uses the 2020 NEC with NC State amendments for the State Electrical Code.
Given the busy schedule of working electricians, it is often difficult to take courses to meet NC requirements for continuing education hours. At New Edge Electrical Education LLC, we offer after hours and weekend courses that are fully virtual. Courses can be done in the convenience of your home or office!
We offer a variety of classes, but our most popular is the 32 hour course which allows for a slower pace and more in-depth discussion and learning.
